Terms of Service

Coaching services: resume review, mock interviews, and the packages described on the services page. You are paying for my time, my feedback, and my materials. You are not paying for a job, an introduction, or a referral.

Nobody can guarantee a hiring outcome and I do not. Offers depend on headcount, timing, budget, and who else applied, none of which I control. Nothing on this site is a promise that you will get an interview or an offer.

I am not a lawyer, accountant, immigration adviser, or financial adviser. Anything I say about compensation, equity, contracts, or visas is general opinion drawn from experience, not professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making a decision that rests on it.

Accurate information about your background, and work that is genuinely yours. I will not help you misrepresent your experience, invent results, complete a take home that you will submit as your own unaided work, or attend a live interview on your behalf or feed you answers during one. If you ask for any of that, I will end the engagement and keep the fee for time already spent.

Reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before a session at no charge, using the link in your confirmation email. Inside 24 hours, the session is billed. If you have not arrived or been in touch within 15 minutes of the start time, the session is billed.

If I need to reschedule, you choose between a new time and a full refund of that session.

Prices are listed on the services page in US dollars. Payment is by Zelle rather than a card checkout, so booking a time and paying for it are two separate steps: the slot is held when you book and confirmed when the payment arrives. Multi session packages are paid in full up front. You are responsible for any taxes that apply where you live.

If payment has not arrived by 24 hours before a session I will email you once and then release the time. Zelle transfers are difficult to reverse, so if you send the wrong amount or pay twice, tell me and I will return the difference rather than hold it as credit.

If a session turns out not to be useful, say so before we finish and I will not charge you for it. On a multi session package you can stop at any time and I will refund the sessions you have not used. Sessions already delivered are not refundable.

Sessions are recorded so you can rewatch them, and I will tell you when recording starts. The recording exists for your use and my notes. I will not publish it or share it with anyone without your written permission. Ask me not to record and I will not.

Templates, rubrics, frameworks, and written feedback I give you are licensed to you for your own job search. Please do not resell them, publish them, or use them to run a competing coaching service.

You keep ownership of your resume and everything else you send me. You are giving me permission to read it, mark it up, and store it for the purpose of coaching you. The privacy policy covers how long I keep it.

To the extent the law allows, my total liability for anything arising out of these services is capped at what you paid me in the twelve months before the claim. I am not liable for lost wages, lost opportunities, or other indirect losses. Nothing here limits anything that cannot legally be limited.

Either of us can stop at any time. If you stop, the refund terms above apply. If I stop for any reason other than a breach of these terms, I refund the unused portion.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in California.

I may update these terms. The version in effect on the day you book is the one that applies to that booking.
